Aimed at readers in grades 6 and up, the books in The Kids' Power Series tell the stories of children who've taken action to correct injustices in their communities and around the world. Told in a narrative, first person style, each book features an ordinary young person who, through standing up for their cause, becomes an activist. Issues include the right to education, non-violence, and support for victims of AIDS in Africa.
The books feature photographs and most include a glossary.
